When expectant mothers come to Samaritan for childbirth they are supported and cared for by highly qualified doctors, advanced practitioners, nurses, and healthcare staff. Samaritan offers a full range of OB/GYN services, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, plus laparoscopic surgery, well-woman services, family planning, and more.

Mother and Baby Center

We’ve been supporting mothers and babies with quality, local healthcare for more than 70 years. At our Leiv Kvamme Mother and Baby Center, highly-trained staff and providers care for new mothers and their babies with personalized attention and compassion in a safe labor and delivery environment.

We provide inpatient lactation support for mothers and babies until they go home from the hospital, and we hold a weekly breastfeeding support group at the hospital. Samaritan has received the Breastfeeding Friendly Washington Hospitals silver-level recognition from the Washington State Department of Health for our efforts in promoting breastfeeding to help get newborns off to a healthy start.
