SAMARITAN HEALTHCARE CERTIFIED TO ISO 9001 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BY DNV

MOSES LAKE – Samaritan Healthcare is pleased to announce they have been awarded full certification to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System by DNV Healthcare USA, Inc. (DNV). The certification recognizes their proficiency as an “Acute care hospital provider of medical and surgical inpatient and outpatient services.”

ISO 9001 is the most widely-accepted quality management system in use around the world, and is quickly gaining acceptance among healthcare providers in the United States as a foundation for their quality and patient safety programs. The successful completion of the certification process communicates to Samaritan’s patients, as well as the region they serve, their compliance to the chosen standard and their commitment to continual improvement.

Samaritan has become the twelfth healthcare organization in Washington to achieve ISO certification as an acute care hospital provider—there are 294 ISO-certified healthcare facilities in the United States.
