Dr. Queenie McClelland enjoys general surgery because of the wide variety of patients she serves at Samaritan Healthcare. Whether gall bladder, hernia, trauma, or any other type of surgery, she loves being part of the solution to a patient’s problem.

Earning patient trust is of the utmost importance to Dr. McClelland, so her approach to patient care is rooted in compassion and understanding. She takes ample time to connect with patients whenever possible, asking questions and learning more about their lifestyle beyond just their medical needs. Above all else, she wants patients to view her as a confident, competent provider who cares about their well being.

Dr. McClelland completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester in New York and medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She then returned to the University of Rochester for her residency program.

Originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Dr. McClelland enjoys the beauty and friendliness of the Moses Lake community. When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. McClelland enjoys hiking, camping, being outdoors, cross stitching, and spending time with her husband and infant son.
